The Hive Society was founded in December 2024 as the first-ever trade store catering specifically to real estate agents and their clients. But how did it all begin?

Twenty-two years ago, a small company named Stage Right Home was created to help realtors prepare homes for sale. At the time, staging was a novel concept in Toronto, and Stage Right was a trailblazer, starting humbly in the basement of Carmen Wageman’s home. Fast forward 22 years, and Stage Right has grown to become the largest staging company in Canada, serving Toronto and the GTA with a 50,000 sq/ft facility and a roster of several hundred agent clients.

In 2024, Stage Right expanded its services to include Stage Right Rentals, Toronto’s first high-end furniture rental service. Stage Right Rentals offers unparalleled services, including curated linen packages and a vast selection of high-end furniture and art, far surpassing the competition. As a leader in providing services to aid in the sale of homes, Stage Right Home once again innovated by creating The Hive Society. This unique store is designed specifically for real estate agents, offering everything needed to refresh a home before it goes on the market. Our curated selection saves time and money while ensuring the best presentation.
